Seaton End User License AgreementThis End User License Agreement (EULA) is an agreement between you, the purchaser, and Jack Kimberley, the creator and copyright holder. Fonts are software and are subject to copyright.
By downloading, purchasing or using the font, you hereby agree to this agreement and will comply with its terms.
You are purchasing a license to use the font. You do not own the typeface design, you are only purchasing the right to use the font. You are a licensed user, not an owner.
Fonts are not to be shared, re-distributed, re-sold or modified in any way.
Purchasing a Standard Print License for 1-3 CPUs entitles you to use the font on the defined number of personal computers , within a company, institution, partnership, foundation etc. and at a single location. The Standard Print License grants the use of the font on a maximum of 3 computers (or by 3 users respectively), within one company or institution, at a single location.
If additional users are required (4 CPUs or more), you must purchase a multi user license that meets the desired quantity of CPUs the font will be installed on. Only a multi user license covers use of the font in multiple locations.
Copies of lost fonts will be replaced in the case that original font files have been lost. Archive copies of fonts are allowed to be made as long as these are not distributed outside of the license holding organization and are used in compliance with the specific user license purchased.
Users are allowed to pass on fonts for general output purposes, e.g. to a digital printer or vinyl cutter. However, the fonts must be used for the specified output process ONLY. Service contractors realising an output must not create new documents with said fonts or manipulate documents being output in anyway. If a service contractor is required to do this, they must purchase an additional license.
Embedding of the font to any external softwares for any other reason than an output being realised (e.g. in a PDF to the printers) is prohibited. Internal documents with the font embedded are allowed, but must never be made public.
The font can be embedded in other software files, such as PDF or Flash files, but you will take all reasonable care to embed the fonts in such a way that they cannot be extracted from the files you create.
No modifications to the font Seaton are permitted to be made. Please contact me directly if modifications need to be made for a custom project. Modified fonts remain subject to the same copyright as non-modified versions.
The web license is defined by the amount of views a webpage receives per month. The standard web license covers 1 – 10,000 website views per month. For any amount greater than this, please contact me directly at
firstname.lastname@example.org. Use of the Licensed Web Fonts with technologies other than @font-face, such as IFR, Cufón or Typeface.js, is not allowed.
Font files may be returned within 10 days of sale if they are found to be defective.
Any breach of this EULA will result in the termination of this license. I reserve the right to update this agreement as I see fit at any time.
In no event will the copyright holder be liable to you for any consequential or incidental damages, including any lost revenue, profits, goodwill or savings, or for any claim by any third party.
Trial versions of fonts are for testing and must never be published publicly in any capacity, commercial or personal.
